Template Organization
Could we get some better organization of templates in the admin config? It seems there are a lot of categories for the same function in the system. It would be nice for example if “ticket” templates were all together, and then separated within that category by delivery type. (SMS, Email, Portal) vs needing to sift through individual categories - ticket automation, tickets, ticket emails, ticket sms. The current structure works yes, but it is just hard to find things sometimes or feels unintuitive. I have on multiple occasions created a template in the wrong section to then need to copy paste it to a different section, sometimes once or twice before I get it right.
Mail errors to be shown on Tickets > List
When mailbox issues occur we are not always looking at the Dashboard to see this. The same error should also appear at the top of the Ticket list so it can easily be spotted.
Inventory - Add Customer *ID* Column
The Inventory section currently has a Column called “Customer” that displays the name of whatever customer an Item is assigned to. However, that information is already visible in the “Status” column - it reads “Assigned: ”. It would be very helpful to have a column dedicated to showing the assigned customer ID #. This info is visible by “scrubbing” the mouse over the customer’s name, but that does not show up if you export the table to CSV or other file types.
Batch actions [item list in product] and [item list all products] differ
If you open the items list, you have more options available in the batch actions button (eg stock location change) but if you open the product list, open a product, and then try to batch action the list, you cannot. Maybe just an oversight that the menus are not the same as both are controlling individual items.
Use a fixed-width font with better visibility of zero vs O in the Inventory section
Title of the post says most of it here. We record the MAC address of equipment in a custom-field in the Inventory section. It is very difficult to tell the difference between a 0 (zero) and uppercase O with the font that is used here. Obviously a MAC address should never have a letter O in it, but people make mistakes (plus O and 0 are very close on a standard English keyboard). Additionally, this problem can happen in Barcode/Serial fields, plus other custom fields where user-input happens. (Not every vendor provides barcodes for serial and MAC address - Mikrotik is one of the worst offenders here.) I don’t need every column in Inventory to use a fixed width font (“Product” and “Stock location” are fine in variable-width font), but Barcode & Serial definitely should be a font that makes it easy to tell I from l and 1 and 0 from O. Maybe an option when adding “Additional Fields” like “display in fixed-width: yes/no” that would set whether it uses this kind of font?
