Track profitability (margin) of services

Feature Request

It would be great to have a cost field on each service we sell, for example, if we sell a fibre connection from a local wholesaler who charges us $50, and we sell for $80, we can calculate our margin.

It would also be good to have this field available via API which would make it useful for doing supplier reconciliations (e.g. is our supplier charging us what we are expecting them to charge).

Finally, with this field implemented, Splynx could extend the very helpful “Monthly recurring revenue net change report” to track our margin and whether it’s going up or down month after month.

    This would help to manage precisely the value of each Service or Customer.

    It may be useful if you could add the wholesale costs to Finance → Costs, then have a relational field on services to match to these costs. That way if a wholesale providers cost changes, you only need to change it in one place.
