Custom HTML elements to trigger hooks

A request for a way to add a custom element(s) and events to a view that we can then assign to a hook.

For example, on the admin/customers/view, Services tab, it would be good if we can have a custom button that generates a custom event hook. We can use POST information from the Internet Service for example to generate config files, QR codes etc etc.
