Hello Splynx Team and Community,
We would like to request an enhancement to the role and permission system in Splynx, specifically regarding customer status management.
In our current setup, we work with external associates whose only responsibility is to provision new customers. However, we’ve identified a critical issue: these associates are able to modify the status of blocked customers (for example, those suspended due to late payments) back to active.
This creates multiple problems:
It undermines financial controls, as blocked customers can bypass payment restrictions.
It generates operational conflicts and customer-related incidents.
It exposes both our internal team and Splynx to criticism regarding process integrity.
The only current workaround is to disable the entire edit option, but this is not viable in our business model, since associates still need to perform other valid tasks.
We believe the solution is to introduce more granular permissions within role management, particularly the ability to control the privilege of re-activating blocked customers separately from general editing rights.
We understand from you that roles are being redesigned in Splynx 5.1. Could this request be considered as part of that redesign, or added to the roadmap? For us, this capability is mandatory to ensure proper delegation of responsibilities while maintaining compliance and system integrity.
Thank you for considering this feature. We believe it would add value for many Splynx users who need fine-grained control over user roles.
Best regards,
Demetrio rodríguez
