We’d like to request the ability to add a bond or security deposit (e.g. $300) to a customer’s account during the signup or billing process. The bond would be held as a refundable amount and either manually or automatically returned later (e.g. after 12 months of good standing or when the account is closed).
We need the following features:
Ability to add a one-time bond charge separately from regular service plans.
The bond should be visible in the invoice history.
Optional flag or tag to track refund eligibility.
Manual and automated refund options (e.g. via finance dashboard or workflow).
This is important for ISPs like us who offer services to tenants or short-term customers and need protection against unpaid bills or equipment returns.
