Ability to Add a Refundable Bond to Customer Billing (e.g. $300 Security Deposit)

We’d like to request the ability to add a bond or security deposit (e.g. $300) to a customer’s account during the signup or billing process. The bond would be held as a refundable amount and either manually or automatically returned later (e.g. after 12 months of good standing or when the account is closed).

We need the following features:

• Ability to add a one-time bond charge separately from regular service plans.

• The bond should be visible in the invoice history.

• Optional flag or tag to track refund eligibility.

• Manual and automated refund options (e.g. via finance dashboard or workflow).

This is important for ISPs like us who offer services to tenants or short-term customers and need protection against unpaid bills or equipment returns.
